OrCAD for Classrooms of Universities
Licenses are provided at a special price (with a big discount, in sets multiple of 5 workstations).
It is possible to obtain licenses for free for 3 years, with an extension, in case of signing an agreement with Cadence on exclusive use (the agreement is signed at the department or faculty level).
Also, students can in this case receive:

Cadence Academic Licenses
The possibility of obtaining Allegro, Sigrity licenses, and, if necessary, a set of Cadence CAD licenses for the development of FPGAs and VLSIs at special prices.
10 workspaces, for 2 years.
Users (teachers and researchers) are supported and trained during the use of licenses.
It is permitted to conduct scientific activities and publish in scientific journals with reference to the use of these licenses.
ALDEC Academic Licenses
Purchasing Active-HDL and Riviera-PRO licenses for university classrooms will allow you to get a complete tool for teaching students the basics of FPGA and integrated circuit modeling, with the ability to check code quality online. At the same time, students can use the free student version of Active-HDL Student Edition to complete their homework.
