Optimize PI
Sigrity OptimizePI allows you to optimize the placement of decaps by power supply based on the analysis of the impedance and local resonances of the power system.
Advantages:
- Can detect “hot spots” in the topology of ground and power board polygons
- Can eliminate local resonances by auto-selecting the position and values of filter capacitors
- You can optimize the configuration of polygons based on the results of an electromagnetic topology analysis
- It is possible to reduce the number of filter capacitors to the minimum necessary, without reducing the quality of the power supply system, and thereby reduce the cost, dimensions and weight of the printed circuit assembly
